Summary Transporters and traders announced to suspend commercial activities on call of the MQM in Karachi.
Karachi University has also announced to postpone all the examinations accordingly.All Karachi Ittehad Chairman Ateeq Mir said all the commercial activities would remain closed because law and order situation in the city has become uncertain. Traders are ready to go on strike for absolute time period, he added.Electronics Market Chairman Muhammad Idris said that the said market would be closed.So far as the Shair Shah Scrap Market is concerned, it would also be closed.On the other hand, all the examinations held under the management of the Karachi University have also been postponed. Dates for further exams would be announced later.
