TheMQM delegation called onSindh CM Qaim Ali Shah and Home Minister Manzoor Hussain Wasan at Governor House whereGovernor Ishratul Ebad was also present.The MQM delegation was comprised of Raza Haroon, Baber Gauri, Adil Siddiqui and Dr Sagheer Ahmad while Minister for Local government Agha Siraj Durrani and Law Minister Ayyaz Somro represented the PPP.The session could not agree on deployment of Army in the metropolitan for restoration of peace. However, Sindh Home Minister Manzoor Wassan said that yet there was no chance of Army deployment in Karachi; if it needed, it would be decided in consultation with other political parties.The meeting condemned incidents of killing, torture and abduction of innocent people. The guest delegation also demanded arrest of scoundrels and terrorist involved in heinous crimes.Ruling class politicians said that the descendants of the victim would be awarded with proper compensation, adding that proper relief fund would also be provided to the victims of terrorism.The meeting also decided to take action the criminals involved in Bhatta, terrorism, narcotics and other crimes without any discrimination.The meeting also reviewed the reservations of the traders and decided to provide them with proper security. It is worth mentioning that the COAS Kayani has agreed on provision Army services against terrorist in Karachi.
