Summary Supply of gas to industrial sector in Punjab would be closed for seven days due to renovation works.
While provision of gas to the CNG stations would also be cut for four days after Eid-ul-Fitr.According to Sui Northern Gas Pipelines, they took this decision due to mending work at the Qarderpur Field Gas which would continue for two weeks.According to programme, the province would have to face shortage of gas for two terms.In the first stage, Lahore, Sheikhupura and Sahiwal’s industry would have to deprive of gas while in the second phase, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Multan and Bahawalpur would face load shedding of gas from 1 to 7 September.
