Ibad calls on Gilani to discuss Karachi situation

According to sources, the Prime Minister also telephoned Sindh CM Qaim Ali Shah and briefed him about critical situation of Karachi with the direction to take action against terrorists without any discrimination.Gilani also communication with MQM leader Farooq Sattar by phone and expressed his condolence with bereaved families.Sources said the Governor Sindh apprised the PM of the prevailing situation of Sindh with particular reference to target killings and firing incidents in Karachi.It was decided in the meeting that the culprits would be brought to justice and stern action would be initiated against those who would show leniency in dealing with conspirators.Sources said the formula for rejoining federal and provincial governments by MQM was also discussed and it was also agreed that both MQM and PPP would continue talks process on national issues so that peace is maintained in Karachi at every cost.
