Anghar, Thatta declared calamity-hit

A special meeting was held at the CM House led by the Sindh CM Qaim Ali Shah in which the flood situation was reviewed. The CM directed the Finance Ministry to issue funds to the DCOs for relief activities.It was told in the meeting that at least one million people in six districts were badly affected.The CM also ordered that the flood affectees should be provided facilities of diet, dress and dwelling along with proper medical treatment.He also appealed to the wealthy to take part in relief activities for their brothers in hard times.Qaim Ali Shah also directed MNAs and MPAs to monitor the relief activities of district committees in their localities.
