Summary PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif has said if deemed necessary he would start another long march.
He warned that he may launch the match from Karachi to Islamabad to ensure the rights of the deprived.He was speaking to inaugural ceremony of 500 newly constructed houses under Ashiana Housing Project of Punjab government.He said if the state could provide houses to the rich people, what is the fault of the poor who work day and night to get the loaf of bread for their children, why can’t they get houses. Rich and poor have equal rights in Pakistan, he added.He said that the nation is divided into two classes. The majority are poor who work on the roads and in the gutters in scorching heat of June and July. But they are not even entitled to three-marla land for his house, Nawaz added.“When I was prime minister I laid foundation stone of 0.5 million houses for the poor but when Musharraf came to power, no one knew about these houses. If I will get another opportunity, I promise that every citizen of the country would have own house,” the former PM added.
