EC decides to purchase 0.1 million ballot boxes

Senator Muhammad Ali Durrani’s party Movement for Restoration of Province Bahawalpur has been allotted scooter as electoral symbol.A special meeting of the EC was held under Chief Election Commission Hamid Ali Mirza in which it was decided to commence the preparation of electoral lists.The Election Commission’s 211,000 employees would complete the preparation of these lists during the current year by visiting door to door.Computerised Identity Card is declared compulsory for enrollment of new votes.The Election Commission has declared the party elections of the PML-N and the Pakistan Freedom legal according to the rules and regulations.
