KP: Amendments not approved for transferred departments

Federal government has transferred number of departments to the respective provinces without the proper preparation under the 18th amendment. No planning is in sight regarding the issue on the part of provinces too. Along with the lack of resources, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly could not approve more than 100 amendments regarding the transferred departments.Provincial Information Minister Mian Iftikhar Husain says he is committed to fulfilling this legal need at its earliest. KP get 4000 workers of 17 departments, whereas the other1000 workers kept in surplus pool have their own reservation. The provinces will enjoy more autonomy by the transfer of departments but lack of resources is a major hindrance to proper functioning.
