Summary Ghous Ali Shah, central leader of PML-N, has warned party leadership against sidelining him.

Addressing a news conference at his residence, former Sindh chief minister Ghous Ali Shah lashed out at the PML-N leadership “bids to sideline” him from the party politics.Shah said the PML-N was not just Nawaz Sharif’s party, adding that any effort to sideline him (Shah) would be childish.The former chief minister was recently made a senior vice president at the national level of the PML-N but views that position as ceremonial. He said he is under pressure from the party workers to resign the post.Asked how his remarks might be received by his party’s leadership, Shah said: “If PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif attempt to sideline me, I have different options. Removing me from PML-N Sindh would not be easy for them.”Shah reportedly wants to be made the provincial president of the PML-N. At the conference, the former CM said the party leadership should listen to the party workers and respect their wishes.
