Summary The US Defence Department has said that negotiations were on to deliver PC3 Orion to Pakistan.
A Pentagon spokesman said that the US provides defence equipment to Pakistan under the EDA programme.He said that the US would soon deliver alternatives for the PC3 Orion aircraft, destroyed in a terrorists attack at PNS Mehran in May.Earlier, Defence Secretary Lt General Shahid Iqbal had told public accounts committee that due to the strain in Pakistan-US ties, the US was reluctant to deliver PC3 Orion to Pakistan.
