Summary In a meeting of the Promotion Board headed by COAS, 19 brigadiers were promoted.
According to the military sources the meeting of the board that began yesterday continued till the early hours of today. The board gave the final approval of the promotion.Those who got promoted include Brig Tariq Masood, Brig Ahmed Mehmood, Brig Khan Tahir Javed Khan, Brig Nazir Butt, Brig Mazhar Salim, Brig Mohammed Jafar, Brig Najmul Hassn, Brig Ghulam Qamar, Brig Ali Abbas, Brig Amir Riaz, Brig Abid Rafique, Brig Asif Khatak, Brig Jameel Rehmat, Brig Salim Raza, Brig Malik Abbas, Brig Syed Badshah, Brig Shahab Naqvi, and Brig M Junaid.
