Kashmir backdoor diplomacy on, says AJK PM

Talking to the media after condolence with PPP leader Qasim Zia on his sister’s death at his residence on Tuesday, he said that it was the PPP that highlighted the issue in the UN and it would never compromise on the UN resolutions.He said that Zulfikar Ali Bhutto had formed the PPP on the issue of Kashmir, and the present government was following the vision of ZAB Shaheed on the issue.He said the PPP believed in a peaceful struggle and it was a great change that a peaceful movement in Kashmir was at its peak.To a question, the AJK PM said the PPP wanted to resolve the issue through dialogue, adding that bilateral connections should continue.He said the PPP would talk with India by taking all the leadership of AJK into confidence. He said that sensitive institutions of the country also belonged to Pakistan and they worked like think tanks.The AJK PM said the PPP in Kashmir would also follow the policy of reconciliation in politics of the state. He said the people of AJK were thankful to the people of Pakistan and Lahore is the heart of Punjab and that was why he visited the city, adding people of the AJK bought everything from Pakistan.
