Govt behind Karachi crisis: MQM

MQM leader Farooq Sattar alleged during his speech in the National Assembly that the government was involved in Karachi violence.The NA session was held under the Deputy Speaker Faisal Karim Kundi. During the discussion on Karachi Farooq Sattar said the peace in Karachi was being intentionally destroyed. Action without any discrimination can sort out the issue, added Farooq. He demanded probe as to why the Rangers was not deployed on time in Qasba Colony, Orangi Town and Kutty Pahari. He also presented the list of 500 criminals to the NA.MQM’s Abdul Wasim, PML-N’s Captain Safdar, JUI’s Laeeq Ahmed and PPP’s Mehmood Hayat Tochi also spoke on the occasion. The NA session was adjourned to Monday at 1 pm.
