Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani has said that all stake holders are being consulted on the matter of creating new provinces.Talking to the media after inaugurating the Gymkhana Club in Circuit House Multan, Gilani said that the government had understanding with Muttahida Qaumi Movement Chief Altaf Hussain and they were making joint efforts for peace in Karachi.The prime minister said that calling all parties conference on Karachi situation was the mandate of provincial government and the federal government would support every action of the provincial government. He went on to add that holding local bodies elections was the responsibility of the provincesand the centre could not dictate the provinces.He said that even a dictator could not build Kalabagh Dam despite the fact that he did not need the approval of the parliament.To a question about the deteriorating condition of the Pakistan Railways, the prime minister said that the organisation did not collapse but now its restructuring was being done.He said that the flood-victims were given Rs 20,000 each and the provinces were to give Rs 80,000 more to them but they said they could not pay that amount.He said that the centre would pay that amount to the flood stricken-people.
