Petition in LHC accuses CM of fake cases against citizen

The petitioner said that he was illegally involved in six fake and fabricated cases allegedly on behalf of the CM. The court has ordered the IG Punjab to conduct an inquiry into the matter.The LHC Chief Justice conducted hearing of the case. The counsel for petitioner Azam Saeed said that the latter had taken a park on contract on Murfree Road but he was being pressurised to cancel the contract.On his refusal to obey the order of what he called the CM mafia, he was involved in six fake cases in different police stations.He prayed to the court to probe into the matter. At this, the court ordered the IG to conduct an impartial inquiry into the matter and refrain from arresting the petitioner, Azam Saeed.The TDCP chairman has been called to the court on August 9.
