Summary Rights activist Ansar Burni says some elements in government are patronising human smugglers.
Addressing a news conference along with Frontier Constabulary IG Maj-Gen Obaidullah, Ansar Burni said human trafficking has affected tens of thousands of houses in Pakistan.He said the problem mainly goes unchecked because state elements are involved in human smuggling. He said a number of Pakistanis are still undergoing bonded labour in Afghanistan. He said these people are transported through Quetta-Chaman highway.He said the agents involved in the gory business are patronised by abundant corrupt elements in the government.
