Summary Tuesday was a hot and humid day in many parts of the country.
Met office forecast sporadic drizzle with lightning in Lahore, Gujranwala, Kashmir and hilly ranges. Karachi was partially overcast during the day while interior Sindh was hot and humid. Dera Ismael Khan and adjoining areas also remained in the grip of heat.The Met office recorded maximum temperature at 45 degrees Celsius. The temperature in Lahore, Panjgor and Bahawalnagar was recorded at 41 degrees C while Chitral, Multan, Okara, Rahim Yar Khan and Toba Tek Singh 40 degrees C.
