LAHORE (Dunya News) - Charge d affaires of the US mission in Pakistan Angela Aggeler called on Acting Governor Chaudhry Parvez Elahi in Lahore on Thursday, Dunya News reported.
Federal Minister for Water Resources Moonis Elahi, MNAs Salik Hussain and Hussain Ellahi were also present in the meeting. Matters pertaining to mutual interest, regional and current security situation in Afghanistan came under discussion during the meeting.
Speaking on the occasion, Chaudhry Parvez Elahi said that Pakistan and the United States have a long-term relationship. The United States cooperation with Pakistan in various fields is commendable.
