Summary PM Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani has appointed Sohail Ahmad as secretary narcotics control division.
Sohail Ahmad’s appointment was made in the wake of Supreme Court ruling. Prior to his new appointment as secretary narcotics control division, Sohail was working as ‘officer on special duty’.On Friday, the Supreme Court had cancelled the notification of relegation of Sohail Ahmed from the post of establishment secretary to the post of ‘officer on special duty’.The court in its detailed verdict said that the notification to make Sohail Ahmed an OSD was not correct.
