Summary The judicial remand of Members National Assembly (MNA) Anjum Aqeel has been extended till August 9.
The Anti Terrorism Court under Judge Akram Awan heard the case. Shaukat Aziz Siddiqi and Raja Inaam, counsel for the MNA Anjum Aqeel, informed the court that their client was admitted in hospital and cannot be presented in the court during the hearing. The court extended the judicial remand of the accused and ordered him to appear on August 9.Meanwhile, judicial remand of 29 accomplices of the MNA was extended for 14 days. Anjum Aqeel was produced in Rs 6 billion land scam case in the court of special judge in Rawalpindi. He is on bail in the case.
