Summary Will not allow anyone to use Afghan soil against another country: Taliban Spokesperson
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Taliban spokesman Suhail Shaheen has said that we will not allow anyone to use the Afghan territory against another country.
Speaking on Dunya News program, Nuqta-e-Nazar the Taliban spokesman said, "we have asked our forces to stay close instead of entering Kabul."
He said Taliban will improve the security of Kabul and form an Islamic government, adding that the option to hold talks in Doha is now over.
"Will respect rights of women and minorities as per Afghan norms and Islamic values. Won t let Afghan soil to be used against any other nation," said Suhail.
When asked that there was a lot of noise in India after the conquest of Afghanistan by the Afghan Taliban, he replied that it was wrong for India to cry. They are crying as the Afghan government has come to an end. They should accept the decision of Afghan people.
Suhail Shaheen said that all people in Afghanistan are equal in the eyes of the law. We will not interfere in the affairs of the minority community. Taliban spokesman said that they will ensure representation of all ethnicities in their set up in Kabul.
Taliban believe in peaceful coexistence and are eager to work with international community to reconstruct Afghanistan, he added.
He said that Ashraf Ghani left the country without informing the people, even his close associates did not know about his escape.
Taliban spokesman said that Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar is currently in Qatar.
