Summary US Ambassador to Pakistan Cameron Munter called on Interior minister Rehman Malik.
Rehman Malik appreciated the US cooperation in capacity building of Pakistan law enforcement agencies and urged for more cooperation.The US envoy appreciated Pak government’s efforts for elimination of terrorism from the country and assured all possible help in this regard. He said that the US attached great importance to its relations with Pakistan. He said that both countries would continue cooperation on war against terror and assured that the US administration would continue its support for democratic dispensation in Pakistan.
