According to the details, secretary establishment Suhail Ahmed was ordered by the Supreme Court to restore Hussain Asghar as the investigation officer of the Haj corruption case. Suhail Ahmed acted on the orders of the Supreme Court.Today Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani made Suhail Ahmed the Officer on Special Duty (OSD). Suhail Ahmed took his responsibilities as secretary establishment after Abdul Rauf Chaudhry was relieved of his duties on completion of his employment tenure. Suhail Ahmed took the charge on July 6, after the retirement of his predecessor. Suhail Ahmed was made OSD right after 20 days of assuming his charge as secretary establishment.Earlier, DG FIA did not appear in the Supreme Court despite the Supreme Court orders, upon which the CJP said if Chief Executive became the hindrance, he could also be taken care of, in accordance with the law.Secretary Establishment failed to issue the notification of Hussain Asghar in the first instance. But when the court warned he could have to face the law if orders were not complied with, Suhail Ahmed presented the notification of the restoration of Suhail Asghar to the same posting.
