Summary Load shedding in Karachi has increased by 12 hours in different areas of the city.

Some localities are badly affected and their condition is going from bad to worse with the passage of time.Likewise, there are also complaints about unannounced load shedding in Landhi, Soldier Bazar, Sadar, Gulshan e Iqbal and many others of the city.On the other hand, there is also a delay in cable faults, feeder tripping, ups and downs in voltage and repair work.According to the spokesman for KESC, load shedding was increased due to the unavailability of gas and oil. The spokesperson appealed to the government to provide security to KESC offices and workers.PPI adds: The curse of electricity load shedding in the biggest city of Pakistan, Karachi, is worsening with every passing day, forcing citizens to take to streets; however, the privatised Karachi Electricity Supply Company (KESC) has yet to respond by running its power generation plants at 100percent capacity and end the ongoing load shedding nuisance.The intensity of citizens’ wrath following prolonged power outages remained same on Saturday when large of power-stricken consumers took to streets in various areas to vent their anger against Karachi Electricity Supply Company (KESC).
