Summary Over fears of attacks on operational staff and installations, KESC has stopped operations.

Chief Executive KESC Tabish Gohar wrote to Sindh CM Qaim Ali Shah and Governor Ishratul Ibad, claiming that despite SHC orders, police have failed to provide security to KESC staff and the installations.He alleged that employees have taken over 56 vehicles of the KESC.During the last three months20 sub-stations, 23 transformers and countless cables have been damaged.He also alleged that 178 employees have also been manhandled in various parts of the city.
