Summary The demand for electricity has been risen up to 19000 mw owing to hot weather.
According to Pepco the total production is 12852 mw, while 720 mw is being provided to KESC. Due to increase in the shortfall, National Power Control Centre is also cutting supply along with distribution companies. In urban and rural areas load shedding ranges from 10 to 15 hours. Faults in PMT etc are also adding to the shortfall. In Faisalabad the load shedding continues for 16 hours.
