MNA Anjum Aqeel courts arrest under pressure from 'N'

Sources said there was pressure from the N leadership on him to court arrest.He courted arrest in Kohsar Police Station while he was then shifted to Shalimar Police Station from where he had escaped. Police earlier arrested 50 men accused of helping Anjum Aqeel escape from the Shalimar Police Station.Twenty-one accused have been sent on judicial remand while eleven on physical remand. However, the police officials accused of negligence have been granted bail.The PML-N MNA is accused of defrauding a schoolteacher of millions of rupees. On the other hand, a judicial inquiry is underway into the incident.
