Summary Rawalpindi bench of LHC has called evidence against Sher Zaman in Benazir murder case.
The two-member bench of the LHC, Justice Chaudhry Tariq and Justice Mazhar Ali, heard the bail plea of the accused. The counsel for the accused informed the court neither Zaman was nominated in the FIR nor was he present in the city on the day of murder. The prosecutor told the court that the accused was a mastermind of the case and challan against him had also been submitted. The hearing of the case was adjourned till July 26.
