Summary All rallies and protest of MQM have been cancelled on the call of party chief Altaf Hussain.
Earlier, Altaf Husain had appealed to the party workers to stay calm and do not take out rallies. The rallies and protests were started onthe heels of flamboyant remarks by Zilfiqar Mirza, the former Sindh home minister.The MQM had asked the Mirza to apologise to the party immeditely, which the latter did during the day on Thursday.
