FM Qureshi under criticism for using umbrella bearer

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi came under criticism on social media when he arrived to welcome his Russian counterpart in imperial style accompanied by an umbrella bearer.

FM Qureshi was always ready to represent the country but was ashamed to carry his own umbrella. He arrived at the airport to receive his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov who was holding his own umbrella while FM Qureshi had people who performed this rather difficult task for him.

The foreign minister s extravagant style did not go unnoticed by the people and was severely criticized on social media.

Social media users said that the foreign minister of a superpower like Russia can hold his own umbrella, so why not the Pakistani foreign minister.
