Shujaat meet MQM leadership at nine zero

PML-Q President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain visited the MQM headquarters with a delegation.Many Orangi Town violence-victims intercepted Shujaat on his way to nine zero, seeking justice for the blood of their loved ones.Addressing a joint press conference along with MQM leader Farooq Sattar, Shujaat said that all parties must sit together in Karachi to restore peace in the city.Shujaat said that when Dr Ishratul Ibad was the governor of Sindh, he used to tackle a bad situation before letting it worse.Shujaat was shown video clips from the recent incidents of violence in the city. Shujaat said that his party would never side with any tyrant or murderer.MQM Coordination Committee members, Raza Haroon, Mustafa Kamal and Dr Sarghir along with Dr Sattar, held a meeting with Shujaat.Sattar said that President Zardari was surrounded by the people who were responsible for disrupting peace in Karachi.Farooq Sattar said that the MQM and the PML-Q shared a cordial relationship.He said that the MQM could have left the government lot earlier, though they had reasons to quit the coalition on several previous occasions.The public was pressurising the MQM to step out of the collation, Sattar said.Former city nazim Mustafa Kaml said that the situation was being made worse under the nose of President Zardari.Few people got the licence to kill in Karachi and the MQM was targeted.
