Summary PM Yousuf Raza Gilani has said PPPs politics of reconciliation should not be taken as a weakness.
Addressing party workers at the Governor’s House in Quetta, the PM said the reconciliation policy had not been given by himself or President Zardari, but the late Benazir Bhutto. He said the 1973 constitution had been restored fully, and lifting of ban on third-time premiership goes in PML-N’s favour. The PM said those pointing the finger at the PPP’s democratic policies have benefitted from the same. About the security situation, he said the war on terror would continue. He said the world must realize Pakistan has paid a heavy price in the war. He said Pakistan wants peace in the neighbouring Afghanistan.
