Summary The weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the country during the last 24 hours.

The sun continued scorching most part of the country, however rains with thunder and lightning also broke the intensity of heat in Kashmir Gilgit-Baltistan and Malakand dividion.Maximum temperature, 43 Celsius, was recorded in Dalbandin and Nokandi.The Pakistan Meteorological Department recorded 36 Celsius in Islamabad, 38 in Lahore, 36 in Quetta, 39 in Multan, 38 in Faisalabad and 24 in Murree during the last 24 hours.The Pakistan Meteorological Department predicted hot and dry weather for 24 hours.However, heavy rainfall is likely in Kashmir and adjoining areas.
