Summary SC has granted bail to Ishaq who was accused of planning an attack on Sri Lankan team in 2009.
A two-member bench headed by Justice MA Shahid Sidiqqui of the Supreme Court Lahore Registry heard the case and granted bail to accused Malik Ishaq against the submission of two security bonds worth Rs 500,000.According to the defense attorney, the accused was in jail when the incident occurred and he was involved in the said case on false charges. The court approved Ishaq’s bail after the completion of defence counsel’s argument.
