World population expected to exceed 7 billion this year

The world population is expected to exceed 7 billion this year.Pakistan’s precious assets are its human resources. More than 100 million people, out of about 170 million population, are below 25 years of age.Poverty, unemployment and shortage of food are increasing due to unevenness between population and resources.Country’s population is increasing with a ratio of 2.5 percent annually and if this trend continues, Pakistan will become sixth most populated country in the world.
