Summary The government has decided to decrease CNG closure duration by 15 hours in an amended schedule.
An agreement to this effect was reached at a meeting between CNG Association office-bearers and Sui Northern Gas Pipelines (SNGPL) officials in Lahore.CNG stations in Lahore and other areas will open now at 3pm Wednesday (tomorrow) instead of 6am Thursday. It was previously announced that CNG will remain shut from 6am Monday to 6am Thursday.CNG Association Chairman Ghayas Piracha termed amendment of the schedule a positive development. However, he insisted that the closure duration needed to be cut down further.
