QUETTA (Dunya News) – One miner was killed and seven other fell unconscious due to poisonous gas in a coal mine in Chey Futi area of Duki Chamalang in Loralai district of Balochistan on Sunday, Dunya News reported.
According to details, poisonous gas accumulated in the coal mine in Duki area due to which eight miners fell unconscious and trapped in the mine. Fellow miners with the help of rescue teams retrieved one dead body and seven unconscious from the mine after a hectic effort of three hours.
The deceased miner was identified as Ghulam Ali and was an Afghan national while the miners who fell unconscious were identified as Ghani, Nasim, Syed Karim, Shah Wali, Fareed, Abdur Raqeeb and Zamin Gul.
