Summary Hearing missing persons case, the SC has expressed anger at the delay in new commission.

The Additional AG said Masood Janjua and Faisal Faraz, two missing persons, died six years ago, However, Amina Masood Junjua, wife of Masood Janjua, claimed she had proofs that her husband was alive, but being detained at an undisclosed location.Heading the two-member bench, Justice Javed Iqbal lamented lack of action on the part of the government. He said the situation was forcing the families of the missing persons to keep coming back to the SC for help.Asma Jehangir, the counsel for missing persons, told the court that report of the missing persons’ commission had not been publicised in violation of Supreme Court’s orders.Reacting to the arguments, Amina Massod Janjua, wife of Masood Janjua, said her husband and Faisal Faraz were alive and living in Rawalpindi at present. She asked if they had been killed then where were their graves, adding their DNA tests could also be carried out.
