ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Jamiat Ulema-e Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) secretary information Hafiz Hussain Ahmed was removed from his post on Wednesday for opposing Nawaz Sharif s narrative, Dunya News reported.
Hafiz Hussain Ahmed had disagreed with Nawaz Sharif s statement about the military during the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) public meeting in Quetta.
The decision was taken during the meeting of Majlis-e-Shura, the party s main decision-making body, which was chaired by JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman.
According to sources, Aslam Ghauri has been posted as the in-charge of the party’s information cell. Sources further said that the Central General Council will meet on December 14 and 15 in Lahore.
