Summary The trilateral talks between Pakistan, Afghanistan and the US will be held in Kabul today.
Foreign secretary Salman Bashir will represent Pakistan, US Special Envoy for Pakistan and Afghanistan Marc Grossman and Afghan Deputy Foreign Minister Javed Loden will represent their countries during the meeting.War against terrorism, peace and reconciliation process in Afghanistan will be discussed in the trilateral talks.The talks have gained great significance in the wake of US President Brack Obama’s plan of troops’ withdrawal.According to the Foreign Office, Pakistan will convey its concerns to the US about the troops’ withdrawal and the US talks with Taliban.The matter of Afghan militants’ infiltration to the Pakistani territory will also be raised in the trilateral talks.
