Britain will send Nawaz back before January 15, claims Fawad Chaudhry

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry has said that in the first phase, the government wrote to Britain for Nawaz Sharif’s return and now the second phase has begun. The United Kingdom will send Nawaz back to Pakistan before January 15, he claimed.

Talking to Dunya News program "On the Front", he said that there are some limitations and restrictions that need to be considered by Pakistan.

On being asked about Indian media s use of his statement in the National Assembly to spread propaganda against Pakistan, Fawad Chaudhry completely rejected the impression, calling it "stupid".  

Criticizing the opposition, he said that their anti-government narrative has turned against the state itself. He declared PML-N leader Sardar Ayaz Sadiq’s statement regarding release of Indian pilot Abhinandan as false, saying that he was also present at the meeting in question and nothing of that sort was said in it.

He warned the Modi government that if India dares to try any military misadventure against Pakistan, our response will be similar to what happened after the Pulwama attack.
