Justice Iftikhar Muhammd Chaudhry, while addressing at first judicial academic convention, said that 40% challans of cases were not presented in the courts which benefit accused while its bad effects befall on courts. He contended that people should be provided fast and cheap justice in the light of the Constitution. While condemning extra-judicial murder, he said that it was responsibility of the state to secure lives and property of the people on priority basis.
