ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Lady Health Workers (LHW) ended their six-day long sit-in at the D-Chowk in Islamabad after successful negotiations with the government during which all their demands were accepted, Dunya News reported on Monday.

Government negotiations team headed by Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Ali Muhammad Khan held a three-hour long round of talks with the protesting health workers during which the government complied with all their demands.

Ali Mohammad Khan has assured that the government will comply with all the demands of Lady Health Workers. A written order in this regard has also been given to Lady Health Workers president Rukhsana Bibi.

Announcing the end of the sit-in, president Lady Health Workers said that we are very happy that our hard work has paid off. Rukhsana Bibi thanked the administration and the Prime Minister and hoped that the government would fulfil its promise.
