Summary BRT operation likely to be resumed on October 25
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) is likely to resume its operation from October 25 in Peshawar.
According to details, the bus manufacturing company has recommended to restart the service after resolving all the issues. The wiring of the buses are being made more effective, the spokesman told.
He further said that BRT buses and their spare parts are in warranty.
Earlier, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government had temporarily suspended Peshawar BRT service after incidents of fire in buses. A team of the company carried out inspection of all the buses.
The decision to suspend the service was taken by keeping in view the safety of the passengers.
