Summary Fire in timber market in Wana reduced goods worth million of rupees to ashes.
WANA (Dunya News) – Fire broke out at the timber market in Wana, South Waziristan’s headquarters, on Sunday which engulfed over 200 shops in the market, Dunya News reported.
According to sources, the fire which has been raging for hours has reached the nearby vegetable market, destroying properties and businesses. Local administration with the help of local residents is trying to control the blaze.
Sources also informed that more than 200 shops have been destroyed due to fire. The fire also reduced goods worth million of rupees to ashes. No casualty was reported in the incident so far.
