In the last budget, a cut of Rs 49,000 was envisaged in the daily expense of the presidency, but contrary to this the expense went up by Rs 97,000.The Presidency’s daily expense equals daily wages of approximately 2184 labourers. The other official accommodations of the President cost the exchequer Rs 2.5 billion.
