Summary Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad and Vice Admiral Abbas Raza greeted the freed hostages.
Both reached PNS Zulfiqar through a motorboat where captain Wasi was the first to appear followed by the rest of 21 hostages freed by Somali pirates.PNS Zulfiqar was anchored at birth no. 4 of the dockyard. Captain Wasi’s daughter, Laila, presented a bouquet to her father and gave him a tearful hug.People were moved to see the father and the daughter hugging each other with tears of joy in their eyes. There were 4 Pakistanis, 11 Egyptians, 6 Indians and 1 Sri Lankan among the freed.
