Summary Indias foreign secretary says Pakistan should take action against perpetrators of Mumbai attack.
Earlier talking to the media, Foreign Office Spokesperson Tehmina Janjua said that Pakistan would take part in the secretary level talks with positive approach and open mind.She hoped that talks with India would prove to be fruitful and India would also respond in the same manner.She said that Pakistan wanted resolution of all outstanding problems with India.India’s Foreign Secretary Nirupama Rao, who arrived in Pakistan on Thursday, said that India was concerned about the rising incidents of terrorism in Pakistan.She said that many Pakistanis also fall prey to terrorism, adding that the perpetrators of Mumbai attacks be brought to book.The talks will cover the issues of peace and security today while the Kashmir dispute and matters relating to confidence building measures and bilateral exchange of friendly delegations would come under discussion tomorrow.
