Summary The speaker of the National Assembly has accepted resignation of PML-Q MNA Marvi Memon.
Following Marvi Memon’s resignation, National Assembly speaker Dr Fahmida Mirza declared the seat vacant with effect from June 22.Marvi Memon was elected from Punjab on the reserved seats for women. She tendered her resignation as MNA and from the basic party membership due to differences with party leadership.
