Summary Young doctors ended strike after the provincial government accepted their demands.
Young Doctors Association Chairman Dr Samad Painzai, while addressing a press conference in Quetta said that the Baluchistan government had issued a notification while accepting their seven demands according to which 127 doctors would be restored and all the cases initiated against doctors during the strike would also be withdrawn.He told that the doctors of Baluchistan would also be facilitated at par with the doctors in Punjab.He rejected the Health Ordinance 2000, terming it a black law, and appealed to the government to review it.The doctors also regretted sufferings the patients had to face during the strike, and vowed that doctors would attend the hospitals regularly.
